Huu Nha Basalt Column Waterfall, also known as Bat Waterfall, stands as a unique geological wonder nestled between the Vinh Son mountains in Quy Nhon. Its most distinctive feature is a million-year-old cliff composed of hundreds of polygonal stone columns fitted tightly together, forming a giant inverted stone honeycomb suspended majestically on the mountain face. Visitors can observe dark stone blocks with contiguous polygonal faces creating a bizarre structure carved by nature over millions of years, while water weaves through stone crevices to cascade from a height of about 30 meters into a white veil of water amid the green forest. Beneath the waterfall lies Bat Cave, a natural rock arch hidden behind the water stream where flocks of bats dwell, with mist, green moss, and deep shadows adding to the wild and mysterious atmosphere. Standing at the foot of the waterfall looking up, the giant stone honeycomb hangs inverted on the mountain face with a white waterfall in front and Bat Cave behind, blending ancient stone, cascading water, caves, and resident bats to make Huu Nha a truly distinct natural landscape in Vinh Son.
